Photographer Awarded $12 Million in Copyright Infringement Case

Liz Ordonez-Dawes, an accomplished architectural and interior design photographer, recently was awarded more than $12 million dollars for copyright infringement. Read more at http://www.photoattorney.com/ Click on the blog link.

This is one of those cases where you can actually read the court order and not be overly confused. While many photographers these days are happy to sell images for $1 per license it certainly pays to be working in the high end of the photography world. The defendants defaulted on the case and therefore cost themselves a ton of money.
